Executive Coaching
The field of leadership or executive coaching can be a bit overwhelming. At its core though, coaching should create a development opportunity that is very targeted, generates a higher level of commitment, and creates more sustainable change.
Executive Coaching Process
ElliotSmith, LLC follows a specific coaching process. It is a very thorough and targeted approach to help our clients reach their desired outcome.
The ElliotSmith, LLC coaching process consists of four steps:

1. Define
It is important that there is agreement on everything before entering into a coaching relationship. Here it is important to define the parameters of the coaching engagement, and the roles and responsibilities of the coach, coachee, and the sponsoring leader (if appropriate) or organization.

2. Design
In this step, the framework is designed, that includes the overall engagement goal, short-term goals, and specific focus areas. Assessments can also be conducted and reviewed in this step to help inform the design of the framework.

3. Act
In the Act step, coaching sessions begin and the coachee takes action on short-term goals related to achieving the overall engagement goal.

4. Transition
Here, the coach, coachee, and sponsoring leader (if appropriate) review and celebrate accomplishments and create a roadmap for moving beyond the coaching engagement.
Executive Coaching Packages
Coaching helps leaders focus on utilizing their innate talent and existing skills in their current or desired future state and success. It is a form of development that is highly individualized and, when embraced, creates a higher level of ownership and success.
ElliotSmith, LLC offers three Coaching packages.
CLASSIC
- Two 50 minute coaching sessions per month
- Three month time frame
- The CLASSIC is a great package for someone wanting to focus on a less complex goal over a shorter period of time. It provides a total of six coaching sessions to help the coachee identify action steps to move forward in the current state.
- NOTE: Assessments available at an additional charge
PRIME
- Two 50 minute coaching sessions per month
- Four month time frame
- The MBTI personality assessment
- The PRIME package adds one more month of coaching so the coachee can learn more about themselves by taking and debriefing the MBTI assessment. This assessment with two additional coaching sessions helps the coachee develop a greater self-awareness and understanding of how to approach their action plan to move forward.
- NOTE: Additional assessments available at an additional charge
PEAK
- Two 50 minute coaching sessions per month
- Six month time frame
- The MBTI personality assessment
- Five to seven feedback interviews with key stakeholders
- The PEAK package is for individuals wanting to focus on a more complex goal over a longer period of time. The MBTI assessment and the key stakeholder interviews provide additional information for the leader on how they are perceived by others and what their strengths and opportunities are as seen by those they work with, for, and around. This additional information is then used to build a more comprehensive Action Plan that the remaining coaching sessions will focus on.
- NOTE: Additional assessments available at an additional charge

Experience Higher Level Effectiveness
With change happening so rapidly in today’s environment, continuous development is very important to most high performing, high potential leaders today. Going to a conference or attending a training course, while wonderful networking opportunities, typically do not create a sustainable focus or change.
Are you, or do you know of great leaders that need a little bit more to be even more effective, to be more seriously considered for a promotion, or just a little more ready to be that dependable successor for a higher level position? Perhaps there is a situation where a leader needs to further develop and demonstrate a higher level of confidence and executive presence, fine tune their communication skills, enhance their ability to work with others, or more consistently engage the team or teams of people they depend on.
